I love this editorial in Tar Magazine by artist Miranda July, Rodarte and photographer Autumn De Wilde. There's a hint of femininity and curious girlishness to it, and I love that the words depict conversation. Is it a conversation between two friends? A conversation this girl is having with herself?
To me, viewing the editorial is like watching a film tableau vivant: the actresses onscreen are still, or perhaps slightly quivering, but I can hear the words being spoken vividly in my head, and these words are real and organic.
The words are lovely and the clothes are Rodarte. Soft yet curious and cerebral. It's hip without even trying.
